Well, I'm finally moved out on my own! Kind of on my own anyway, I have a roommate: Chris. Most of you may know him as one of the co-hosts on our completely awesome podcast: Pi and Chips . If you haven't listened to that yet, you really should because we're about to get really awesome.
Anyway! This new apartment living is awesome. I thought I would be kind of homesick and everything but I've been really good. I've finally got faster internet so I can lay games and use awesome tools from the internet. I used to not be able to watch streaming media, play WoW, or download huge files. That's pretty much my life, so being able to do that finally is awesome. I have to catch up now, because 3 years of internet progress has passed me by. There's so much out there that I haven't tried and I really want to get into it. I was in a slump for a while and just couldn't think of anything to do on internet, but this high speed stuff has made a difference. It's just like it's breathed new life into my geeky self.
I've also found the joys of asphault! You can skateboard on it, and when you part your car on it, you can get in and out without putting dirt in your car! I've been living with a dirt driveway for 3 years, and it's annoyed me to no end because I could never keep my car clean. It's amazing the things we take advantage of! I'm very appreciative of this new place and the possibilities it's opened for me. A lot of the places I want to go and things I want to do can be achieved through using the internet to put myself out there. Our podcast and this blog are both things that I want to use to get heard, and the internet has opened that door.
